Don't make love assumptions

A song kept ringing in my head this morning. The lyrics go like this: “Don’t you know you mean so much to me?” That’s it; repeatedly.
But something different struck me.

What if the person doesn’t know? What if you’ve never told them how much they mean to you, the importance of their presence in your life? How, then, do you expect them to know they mean so much to you?

As you plan to send that usual general text of, “Thank you for being a part of my 2025, see you in 2026”, why not go a step further and tell them the impact they made in your life and how you want them to still be there?

Don’t make love assumptions. Profess love and mean it.
