El nombre de Erzebet Bathory quedara grabado por siempre entre los personajes Infames de la historia de la humanidad. La condesa tras la muerte de su esposo se dedicó a encontrar la fuente de juventud eterna. Con la ayuda de una supuesta bruja llamada Darvulia instaló un laboratorio para dedicarse a las practicas de la magia negra con el fin de buscar una manera de mantenerse siempre joven, para ello buscó obtener la sangre de las jovenes campesinas que vivían a su alrededor. Durante años la condesa secuetró, mutiló y asesinó a centenares de jovenes para luego bañarse e incluso beber su sangre. Fue una practicante del vampirismo en vida. Unos soldados mandados por el rey Matyas tras ingresar a la fuerza en su castillo hallaron su laboratorio donde todavía quedaba restos de los cuerpos y numerosos litros de sangre embotellados sin usar. Fue enjuiciada y condenada a cadena perpetua en confinamiento solitario. Solo soporto 4 años para después quitarse la vida un 21 de agosto de 1614. Llegaron a determinar que a lo largo de su terrible busqueda llegó a matar a unas 600 jóvenes, crimenes por lo que nunca llegó a pedir disculpas.
