If someone asked you to define success right now, what would you say? That's precisely one of the questions I asked one of my latest guests on my podcast. For many, the answer defaults to classic things like money, properties, titles, being popular, etc.
Arjan admitted that he hasn't found the one definition, but he knows what he wants it to include. In his case, success is "that I live from rest in a playful state, aligned with who I'm created to be." Now, that's a powerful definition, don't you think?
It's powerful because it is a radical shift from the culture of constant hustle, and at the core of it is the idea of alignment. When your values and your actions are aligned, then your purpose is unlocked, and everyone around you profits from that. Arjan argues that this authenticity is actually your specific "added value" to the world. As he beautifully puts it, "Success means, in a way, that I'm a big blessing for someone else."
Whether we define success as having enough to eat and a roof over our heads, a certain amount of money or properties, or achieving X and Y, Arjan's perspective reminds us that the version of success that brings lasting joy is the one where we are most authentically ourselves.
So, let us ask ourselves: are we just busy, or are we living with integrity?

I see you've learned to hide the labels; someone told you, I read it—I imagine they're the norm, and it's great that we learn. I enjoy following you and supporting you. I always tell newcomers to Hive that the most important thing is to have fun in the process.

Excelente aporte siempre con temas que son interesantes, son aprendizajes de la vida misma. Ya veo que aprendiste a ocultar las etiquetas, te lo dijeron, lo leí, son normas me imagino, es excelente que aprendemos. Me gusta acompañarte y darte apoyo, entrevistas personas variadas e interesantes. Son buenos mensajes que a veces coincidimos en intereses. Me gusta que dejas un resumen escrito así lo puedo traducir, no entiendo todas las palabras en ingles, lo siento.
Yo siempre comento a los que llegan nuevos a Hive que los más importante es que se diviertan en el proceso.

Please tag me! I feel like my success is that I have found inner my happiness. I really do not need money, cars or relationships un order to be happy. Of course it brings out the question what is left? Dark side of this is that I don't want to do anything that doesn't feel fulfilling or spend time with people who I do not vibe with.
