Recently, I asked for a salary increase, as my responsibilities have also increased, and it's been about two years since I received any raise. My boss said it wasn’t feasible at the moment. Three days later, they went on vacation to London...

It may seem silly to outsiders, but only we, the employees, know how undervalued we are here. I can’t wait to embrace another opportunity and say goodbye
You should reply that your increased performance requirement isn't feasible at the moment either in that case ;^)
In fact, I've reduced my productivity... there's no way I can dedicate so much to something that doesn't value me... I'm looking for another job because I can't take it anymore haha
That's the spirit! You can always find another job, but you can't find inner peace and good health in something that's damaging you. In the end, it's just work to make money to live. If working makes living even harder, then you're better off elsewhere
It always how it goes haha😂 because maybe the money that they could have used to increase your salary went to expensive trips haha
that's exactly that happens!!
Companies never value the staff that they have.
You can probably go to a new job and get more money straight away. Then the person who replaces you will get a higher salary than you are on now.
They don't like to give out raises to the people already there and working hard.
I hear ya. After 11 years at the library, promised raises never make up for rising costs, and taking on extra responsibility is not recognized by the people holding the purse strings.
Bastardos, haha!
We have to have workers, we don't have to have dollars.™
