That was an Indian elderly selling collectables from a cloth spread out on the roadway as a counter. It cost me only $0.3 but the feeling of being connected to history is amazing. Secondly, I've been reading Orwell's novels about roughly the same time period #today #India #travel

you obtained only one coin? having such bargain-prices?? (or they were all merely the same or similar...)
Orwell is a geat choice.
He had no post stamps :( Buying from a person who loves himself old collectables, buying irl, in a province town's street market is just a perfect experience...
I wanted all, but I knew it was just the greed fever of a former collectioner, lol. So I chose one cute coin from the past epoch, and said myself "enough". Though thinking what else I could buy - the vendor is not far from my guesthouse, and he ll be there every day (I guess).
ps. would love to see a shot of his counter, with a view of what was on sale. 😍
Yes, probably I should write a post about goods in this city - it has a market street, with some interesting stuff like minerals, collectables, traditional handmade jewelry, etc.

This is an interesting option for looking at the past through history across the ages.
Yes, a cool souvenir, not a toy or some fake shite... But a real artefact from the past - the British Empire, India under the British rule - it sounds like fiction in 2025 but, look, I hold a crumble of this time in my hand.
Yeah. That's the vibe: keep it real, with real stuffs. 🤙
