My best friend just sent me these photos... it's my CPU drenched in flood and mud. He said there's a 50/50 chance. I hope at least some parts can still be used. I need a PC for my job. I'm not sure if the other parts are still working, but this one's the most important. :(

yes... we had to evacuate yesterday because our house got flooded.. You can check my last post for the story.. it's quite long, though...

Yeah... he said if it still doesn't work, he'd take it to the repair shop to thoroughly test what can still be used... I really need this to start over..
Water itself does not break the parts, but the dirt and stuff in every crack does, unfortunately. Sure a sad sight, hope you don't have to replace everything.
yeah.. so he told me we should do it asap... We went back to our flooded house yesterday to get it, so he could try and save what there is to be saved... ;(
Oh no that awful. So sorry about this. I'd be so distraught if this happened to my work device, so i know how you feel. I hope it can be fixed
