It's cheap and great there :) Even gas station coffee is good, and that is quite something!

Yep, that's just like in Spain :) However, regardless the great cuisine Spain offers, coffee there is often torrefacto, hence rather poor.
Not so long ago they even had a maximum price an espresso could cost in a bar.
Oh, I didn't know about that :) And I visit Italy quite often :)
For a long time now, locals and tourists have been able to nip into one of Italy’s many, many (roughly 132,000) coffee bars and grab an espresso for as little as €1 – in the past, prices were even regulated by the state.
