Hivelist is great but I will definitely never be able to convince him to take fiat even if it strengthens the ecosystem. He is so anti fiat lol
90% of the people I know are never going to be into crypto. That’s just how it is

I used to accept fiat at one point, but during the Chokepoint 2.0 attack all of my payment options turned on me because we have NFTs integrated into the system. It was looked at as a high risk business and we were shut out.
I didn't know that! Now it makes more sense why you are resistant to that idea!
Well, I'll still try to support hivelist if I can, I just don't know how to convince 95% of the people I know to use crypto until they are shut out of the banking system....which at this rate who knows!
Yeah, it was a complete nightmare, and still is. The other issue was the transfer from fiat to crypto with all the exchange fees, I was losing money on the deal, basically paying out of my own pocket, and I couldn't sustain that way.
Being anti fiat is one thing but it's also a legal minefield to accept fiat currencies for crypto.
Maybe by integrating a 3rd party payment processor who handles the legal crap could be an option but then there's fees and costs and all that.
Yes, I can understand him in particular not wanting to deal with that. Maybe letting another hive project handle the payment processing?
