My wife and I had been looking into them a few years ago. She got pregnant and we stopped looking because we didn't want to worry about an accident with a new little one. We'll probably investigate them again once he gets bigger and less dangerous.

It's understandable, Lanterns can be a bit tricky with kids around, the child's safety is a big concern. Glad to hear you are thinking ahead though! Kids grow up fast, I'm sure you will find the right time to get back to it. How is the little one and wife doing?
They're doing very good. He's even out a play date today where he gets to "be a conductor". He's been getting into trains so we thought this would be fun for him.
Wow that's awesome! Being a conductor sounds like a blast! Trains are the best, I'm sure he's having a fun. Thanks for sharing, am happy to hear they are doing well.
