This is how I ended up bringing my skateboard on the plane: attached to my suitcase and checked as baggage; trucks and wheels inside the suitcase, and the board wrapped separately. Always careful to keep the weight under the limit so they don't overcharge 🥴

There's a dam just around that bend in the river so it's not quite the free flowing river the ancients were use to seeing. It is a big 1200 mile long river though and at this point it is about 100 plus miles from meeting the ocean.
