There is the odd chance that Hive could do $5 this cycle, given that it has already seen $3.47 in the last -- but in terms of sustaining $5, I think that you are probably in the ballpark for 2030-2032.

My Mum still puts the angel I made in Grade 2 on the tree. She would have liked a nice shiny trendy tree top angel but I got upset that my angel would be replaced so its been on the tree over 40 years now.

It's a turkey wishbone. Two people pull on either side of the bone and whoever gets the bigger side when it breaks gets to make a wish. It's a North American tradition when you eat a turkey

That's likely an effect of the light. The log was wet after a storm and shiny with a slippery substance, so it might be reflecting the blue sky.

Saw an old tweet from StakeCube announcing they had a project zomboid crypto server where you could find "token vouchers" in-game, then redeem on their site for crypto. Interesting concept, any similar game servers out there for specific games that are crypto related?
Hive when explained right isn't that difficult. I think it's always the retention and making people to want to engage with the community around here.
Signing up, creating account, and all that is not that hard but making people create & engage is the real challenge
Twitter or Facebook conditions a form of reactionary response. People aren't so much articulating their own thoughts but responding to or scaffolding to a current event or some transitory drama.
Hive's current audience doesn't foster or reward that type of content.
That's a good point too! like over X people are posting content from whichever platform they can find and react to it. I suppose it should find its place here too.
I still think we should have "light" accounts that are quick up-and-run, but keys remain custodial with the account creator until the user actually opts in for a "full" account; then they get their keys. Light accounts have posting authority only; can see the stake (more)
Yeah, that's what I thought too after trying to onboard people that are new to this whole thing. I think light account with posting auth and such would be great. I am not sure how feasible that is but I can see how that is useful
It's definitely doable. The Inleo community — they built their own front end from the ground up — have figured out a way to create an account with twitter/X, Google or several other ID sources. I don't know how the code works... nor whether it can be done as a sitewide thing.

A few are still around, and doing very well ….. but most of them earn a few thousand Hive then eventually sell to buy Bitcoin.

Getting back into some HBD accumulation. Holding a lot of liquid Hive to not miss out on volatility, but a stable 15% is still amazing when the rates on fiat and USDC are decreasing to a lower 4%.

I've exchanged about 3600 HBD for Hive last September when the price was low. I recently bought back some HBD to earn 15% interest.
Yeah I really haven't been as prepared as I'd like to have been with previous bull markets. This time I've got a lot of Hive liquid to trade with, but I think at 15% having some HBD as a hedge isn't a bad idea. Would like more HP but missing the 40% spikes would be depressing.
I am starting to accumulate HBD a little bit at a time. For example if I have 3.5 HBD, I make stake of 0.5 HBD, and so each time I collect a post.
I plan to reach 250 HBD and look for a pool to invest.
It shouldn't take you long at all! I've built my HBD up quite a few times in the past, I think it reached 1.6k at one point. I would like to get it back up and have a constant income again, so market movements mean nothing to it, but also the liquid Hive fluctuates.
Buy Low…. sell High. Repeat.
