i stopped playing as soon as the game got complicated, in the beginning the five summoners and monsters were easy and fun to play, then it kept getting so complicated that it felt like study or work...

I had to buy garlic yesterday. It makes me want to try growing it at certain times, it's something we need a lot to use when making lunch or dinner and when we least expect it, it runs out kkkk.

Podping is in most blocks, but most Hivers won't even know about it. As I understand it this is a way for podcast apps to know when episodes are available. I assume it doesn't have any rewards aspect. It's cool to watch what goes on.
Hey @bozz, honest question here; Why are #polls so highly valued? From big social to Hive, everyone gets so excited to have the ability to add a poll to their posts, why? If you have a question why not just ask? Example: What's your favorite type of ice cream?
Because people are lazy. It's easier to click a button than it is to actually type out an answer. I posted several Snaps yesterday that got zero interaction and I think that would have been different had I been able to present it as a poll.

I've wondered that. I guess people use Discord instead. The chat is nice, but can be a bit clunky. I think some dapps apart from peakd did use it. We need such features to be widely used to be more useful.
It would be nice and makes sense to bring dialogues onchain from discord.
The problem I find with short form content is there are so many in a thread/container or whatever you call it. You step away for 10 minutes and new ones have grown quicker than mushrooms
and you don't have to worry about triggering autovotes, that's one thing i didn't like about people posting short content on the chain, a lot of them just did low effort post to milk upvotes
agree, Snaps or microblogging in general gives that 'self space' feeling where you could just throw out whatever is in your mind. What more if there are stories feature.
I think chat is more for asking questions and quick interactions and snap and other micro blogging is more publishing small content from things you are interested in like on X.
@jarvie I really think in light of snaps success chat could perhaps roll out a simplified experience. It's way too clunky and unintuituve. It also doesn't load in Firefox for me. I honestly don't even known how I can write a message there - but maybe it's just my stupidity😅
Because Snaps is a lot like using HIVE blogging just with shorter posts or snaps. The voting system is the same. This makes using Snaps very easy and the learning curve for people already familiar with HIVE almost zero.

I'm drinking my first (French Press at home). I'll probably have a latte once I get to work and probably another one later in the day. I'd say 4-6 is my max these days, but I'm actually "trying" to cut back.
I like the faded colours of the leaves in the fall. The light more easily filters through them creating a glow effect. I didn't get this effect here because I should've left exposure compensation at 0 instead of -3.
Fall is very nice with all the colored leaves. I made a blogpost about it yesterday :)
Unfortunately they don't last too long. With the first storm most trees are barren again :(
It's true. Once the leaves have fallen, it's difficult to find "nice" scenes in Winter, but maybe I'll have to challenge myself to find the good shots this season.

And microblogging can earn you rewards, that also attracts people.
Both chats and Snap are the same nature, if I understand it correctly, except you can earn rewards in Snap and not in Chat.

I think the idea is to have deep liquidity pools on Hive. There is simply not enough HBD to do this on exchanges

Tea is fun. I find it so interesting that tea leaves has more caffeine than coffee beans but most of us feel the kick from coffee more than tea.

Yeah, technically the higher caffeine in coffee is also the result of extraction + roasting process as well as quantity. Different types of coffee has different caffeine content too. If you want to know more, here's the journal on it

I start the day with a decaf in the morning and grab a regular black coffee later on the day. Sometimes two.
You reminded me I need to get a percolator or the moka pot! I have phin filter and v60 but I want to switch up my brewing and do something new. BTW What's your favorite decaf brand?
I'm not e real coffee expert, so we get the decaf from the LIDL 😂
And I have beans from the same supermarket for a non-decaf.
At work we have a Nescafe machine with the following cups from which I often choose the origins, leggero or Peru or Colombia organics.
I wish we have plenty options for decaf. It isn't really popular here until the last couple of years, though even so it's hard to find and very limited. I love peru and colombian,some of the best beans that ever exist 😄
I'm drinking my first (French Press at home). I'll probably have a latte once I get to work and probably another one later in the day. I'd say 4-6 is my max these days, but I'm actually "trying" to cut back.

Yeah, it's usually pretty well "worn off" by the time I get ready for bed.

I like the faded colours of the leaves in the fall. The light more easily filters through them creating a glow effect. I didn't get this effect here because I should've left exposure compensation at 0 instead of -3.

It's true. Once the leaves have fallen, it's difficult to find "nice" scenes in Winter, but maybe I'll have to challenge myself to find the good shots this season.
