I heard a lot of people say this, but I honestly couldn't tell the difference after Elon took over. I got my account back for a while, then got it taken away again for suggesting a guy who carried a loaded and chambered pistol might accidentally shoot himself.

The new regime acted exactly like the old one... denied my first appeal immediately, and they're still ignoring the second one.
When I got kicked out, it was still full of porn bots, scams, and rage engagement. The only difference is that it now leans slightly more to the right.
I could see it would go down hill and didn't want to be associated with it so I left, as did many others. Musk is pretty deranged IMHO.
He's just another functional autistic kid whose wealth is starting to cause a king's hysteria. He's willing to sacrifice his wealth to pursue dreams that will help all of humanity, and I have a grudging respect for that, even if I personally find him reprehensible.
Is it such a sacrifice when he could live well on 1% of it? I think any rich person has some moral responsibility to do good with their money. It doesn't always buy happiness.
I mean that he takes risks that can (and have) cause serious harm to his finances. His motivations seem to be more about making science fiction a reality than accumulating wealth. If he had been more of a Bill Gates, PayPal would be the national currency right now.
