I like free food, especially if eating it helps the environment a little. Himalayan Blackberries are native to Armenia and Northern Iran, but they were introduced here in the 1970s, and now they outcompete the native plant species with thorny thickets. They are delicious!
They look pretty taste. Indeed.
They're sour when red but sweet when they turn black. The image shows them in the process of changing colour from red to black.
Nature always has a way of sorting plans out. This one looks very succulent :)
The birds and bears are happy about the berries, for sure
