Yes you are old, but also cool. Damn I loved my mp3 player so much. Coolest bit of tech in ice blue. They didn't last long did they?

I kept using an MP3 player long after most adopted smartphones. The library has audiobooks on CD, many in MP3 CD format. It's still lurking in the background, and I still rip CDs instead of downloading music for most of my library because I like physical media.

You know kids are even doing cassettes now? Problem is you can't find cassette players. Wish I hadn't thrown my tapes out.

I've fully adopted the digital age - we even have a Bluetooth receiver attached to the stereo.

Yet vinyl.Love that warm crackle sound still..

Yup. Records and cassettes are in today. Will 8-track or VHS re-emerge first?

Oh 8 track yes, hmm, VHS not so sure.

Give it another 20 years and all of this stuff will come back in style

The 90s are already popular again. I expect the aughts to have a nostalgic resurgence in the next decade. All I want is Microsoft to stop pretending Windows hasn't been going downhill since XP, and finally update XP64 for modern machines. Fantasy, I know...

No you are only if remember 8-tracks. untitled.gif

I remember them being a thing, but my family was already microcassete-only media.

We had some truck drivers and so they were big. Literally. LOL
