So, stocks and bonds? Metals? Currency speculation? Daytrading?

Government bonds are financed by future taxation and inflation. Nope.

A lot of corporations are shady as heck, but I can see benefits to short- and long-term stock strategies.

I favor commodities myself.

Sort:

Primarily stocks. Bonds are really boring imo and we have plenty of metals content already.

There will be no day trading or technical analysis.

Government bonds don't pay enough in my opinion so I doubt that will come up much outside of using their rates as an assumption.

US bonds aren't finding buyers now, between low interest rate policy and monetary inflation.

I'd like to see something like, "here are companies with a boring history of surviving economic ups and downs," or, "here is a new venture with some risk, but big possibilities."

I am making a list so thank you for including this. I am still thinking through the best way to start off.

I would like to get people the tools to do stock valuations independently and then people can post about stocks they are interested in and then people can critique them.

One more thing. If people really wanted to look at corporate bonds I guess we could but I doubt many people will want to XD
