Yesterday, while writing a #garden post, I got inspired and went on and harvested a big part of my rooftop onions. Nice batch! All grown from leftovers! Let's see if I can get another round out of their leftovers... #gardening #homestead

They are so green and fresh. I hope you get more. ❤️
We'll see if the stumps grow back again! I hope so, too. Though I don't think one can do that indefinitely. Would be cool, though, having a never-ending supply :-D
It would be great to have a never-ending supply for sure. 😆😂
I hope to have a garden in the future.
I love eating them fresh, with salt, better with bread and boiled potatoes better with real butter. Yummy!
Potatoes aren't available at the moment. But I made an omelette for Lily with them, she loved it(she harvested,it's tastier to her). Tomorrow I'm going to make a curry I think,I still have the ingredients for that.Or I'll invent something else. So many options! Onions are awesome.
You can do something really nice with this.
Lily wants to make an onion soup, but we don't have potatoes at the moment, due to the strikes. So, I was thinking curry. Still have coconut milk, cabbage and cauliflower, so it might be delicous
Good options you have.
Is this onion different from normal onion? Am asking because am not seeing any onion bulb.
It's called "long onion" here. More or less like a leek.
That's good.Go green and fresh.Love to add this in my Tinola or soup.
I'm going to turn it into a curry today :-)
Wow...that's also cool
If you didn't uproot everything in the root. It will surely grow again. Nice harvest
That's how I grew them in the first place 😉
This is a fresh vegetable I love eating it Weldon dear
Look at how fresh they are, very fresh and healthy
delicious!
