Now that's odd. Perhaps to use the content again and not be accused of recycling. But that doesn't make sense because Hive has a permanent record, correct?

yeah I mean the original text is still stored, and even images at times depending on the host, it seems it's not for reposting purposes in some cases but they're "deleting" everything, weird

No but someone told me old posts were circulating again?

I guess I wouldn't mind deleting some of the old posts of mine that make me cringe but I don't think anyone I know would find them anyway..

hmm could be, thing is i get a notification whenever they edit them out, lol
don't wanna mention the username cause who knows why they do it for privacy reasons or security, etc, but wonder how many realize it doesn't actually delete anything,a frontend could show 1st revision only

I have seen that a fair bit. Almost as if they are trying to hide their past. I have also seen the same users unfollowing everybody and they seem to do it by hand. Which must be time consuming. No idea why

Thank you @acidyo.

In the past I had consistently reblogged a certain musician's post and then one day they were all gone....he claimed they were his intellectual property and he did not want them on any of the blogs any longer....however I did not receive any notice.
