That is a great idea, and could really make a difference to somebody. We need to do what we can to help, wherever and whenever we can, even at the trash can. See what I did there! Lol.

Yeah I'm surprised not more countries do this, they basically have consumers pay a premium for the bottle initially, then you can recycle it for $.20 instead of throwing it in the general trashcan.

Just takes thinking a little more self-less!

Normal occurrence in Norway as well. There's people logging around massive sacks of empty bottles they've picked from the bins. 1 bottle is like $.2

I used to do this after a weekend of drinking at my place xd

In The Netherlands deposit on tin cans eas recently introduced (we did have it for glass and plastic bottles for years).
In the cities homeless people started emptying trashcan to find deposit. Now most tradh cans have a seperate holder for cans.

nobody uses them 😆 I'm collecting cans and bottles as a sport, only found 2 bottles in one since they were installed lol

a kind gesture for people who do this for the poor, but people 'leave'them anywhere they like, they're just lazy to turn them in because it's only a couple of cents in deposit money 😅

Wow...thats so cool
