#94: A woman is a HOME.

Hi everyone especially to ladies of the hive. I do hope you are all doing well and had a productive day.
I'd like to join the contest for this week which is about "What is a woman?"

Surely, this question has a lot of answers and at the same time hard to explain. Especially nowadays that some are confused about their gender. My answer to this question is merely my understanding and my opinion. I do hope that I won't crash anyone's beliefs and feelings. But I'll try my best to say what's in my mind and heart without stepping on other people's hearts and flickered pain.

What is a woman?

For me, a woman is home. What's in a home? Everyone can make a house and a shelter for their family and relatives. But not everyone can give a home. And for me, being a woman is the one who knows how to give a home to everyone, especially their loved ones. When we say HOME, it caters with love, care, understanding, beliefs, and above all respect. A woman can give all of it to her man and her children.

But how can a woman give you home? As a man, always put in mind that what you give and show to your woman, she will reciprocate it wholeheartedly. That's why if you want a better home, always showed her that you are deserved to be given a home by her. Never let her feel like being taken for granted and always appreciate things she made for you.

A woman is a mirror of a man's gesture and well-being. There will be no good woman to a man if the man never appreciates and respect her. She will never give her a home if she feels that her home will not be as safe and strong with her man. But I don't say this one-sidedly. I say both should do the same.

Also for me, a woman is a home because she can give everything she has even how painful things are thrown back to her. A woman knows how to stay even how hard it would be for her. But a woman is also a human that feels tired that sometimes leads to quitting with the man even how much they loved them. But almost women do feel the pain and stay because they treasured the home they built with their man and their offspring.

In terms of those who changed their gender.

I respect transgenders, for how they see themselves as a woman. They also can give you home because honestly for me, they have so many big and warm hearts, especially to their families. They will support their loved ones as much as they can give. But of course, since we are all human and have attitudes, not all are perfect and kind. The reason I will choose those trans who have the heart to build homes and not wreck homes.

I also salute them as I've read some stories of them adopting children and I can say, they are good parents as a woman.

In terms of giving birth.

Not all women who gave birth can be called a home. Because nowadays, lots of unplanned pregnancy happens and some killed their flesh. It's so disheartening. Not because you have female genitals, you will be called a woman. Being a woman is how you see life and protect life. How will you be a home if you never let a small creature live because of your decisions in life?

A woman should be a home that builds and not destroyed. A woman is the one who can give a warm home. May you be a transgender or a woman born. A woman for me is not only having a female reproductive but a heart of giving a home to her loved ones and treasures life.

To answer the question about how to assess children, especially since I have a son, on changing their gender...

This is kind of hard and as a mom, I want my son to grow as what he is. To be a man. As a mom, I need to assess things he needs to know. Coz for me, being confused with your gender is somehow a factor in the community. That's why assessing your child about gender is important. But if the time comes that him to choose his path, I will respect his decision. It's his life and it's his choice. I may get hurt because for sure I will question myself where and when I made a mistake for him to be confused with his gender, but as I've said, as much as I provided him the assistance to learn what gender is, I will respect his choice. I just hope that his father won't get mad at me hahaha. But yeah, assessing him and answering his questions will help him understand the life of what real woman is.
