Hello, ladies of the hive, this should be my second participation in a contest. I was thrilled when I saw the topics for discussion, and just like a pull, I knew right away that I wanted to write about my favorite musical instrument and how I still have plans to study it since I find everything about music fascinating. But seeing the other topic for discussion I just couldn't help but stop to think of it as Death is indeed an unusual topic for discussion, I'd like to think of today as a fortunate Saturday since I get to take part in this. enough of this, let's dive in
Death is an unusual topic of conversation, but remembering death makes us appreciate life. If this were your last birthday, how would you like to celebrate it and why?
Death, an unusual topic of conversation
Nothing in this life is truly guaranteed and nothing lasts forever, but one sure thing is death.
We tend to shy away from this topic a lot, forgetting the fact that it is something we all will encounter even though some people tend to believe they will see the last day, lol,
like I mentioned earlier, death is a constant in this equation called life.
And I believe if we come to terms with it, there's a chance we will accept and see life in a different light, and even though we get hurt by the death of a loved one, we can bounce back within a reasonable period, because there is acceptance instead of denial.
Death makes us appreciate life.
Without darkness, we won't appreciate and see the need for life, as without death there won't be a consciousness to live entirely.
For some, death is like an imaginary alarm to live their best life, while for some it is a constant reminder that nothing in this life is promised, for me, death is a puzzle, a difficult one at the time, for every time I think I am about unravelling the answers, thump,
It gives me a knock and throws me off balance, and there I go trying to fix it all again from the start
Death is a constant reminder to appreciate life but also a factor to question the essence of life.
It is an avenue to concentrate your thoughts on what matters and also a yardstick to measure if what you thought matters really mattered.
With this in mind, how would I celebrate this birthday if it were my last
If this were your last birthday, how would you like to celebrate it and why?
If this were to be my last birthday, I'd partyyyyy hard, I'd travel to Hawaii with friends, visit and eat other cultural foods other than the regular food I have been eating all my life, go skydiving, play games, and act as president for a day.
These are what I will usually tell anybody when asked this question to avoid answering many other questions later on, but knowing myself I know that is actually the least on my mind.
Seeing I am a deep thinker and a lover of soul enlightenment, I want to enjoy the serenity of Nature and try to understand the essence of life, no crowd, no drama, and no noise.
So let me schedule how my day will go
Waking up that morning in my chosen destination( one that has a peaceful and natural serenity)
Do my usual morning routine
Get breakfast (A nice dish I have never tasted before)
Go out for a spa treat day with just that one person I will want to spend my last days with
After getting back, I'd get gifts and food for the children in the orphanage(which has always been part of my birthdays ritual)
Have a little fun with the babies there( I am in love with babies, they are a constant reminder that one day we are here and the next, no more)
Go for lunch
After that, my next destination is the zoo, go see some wildlife habitats with my girls
Capturing every moment to remind myself I was once here
The next stop is the beach,
That's the last place I'll want to spend my day
Do some Yoga meditation beside the sea
Have some sunbath
Relax while documenting my thoughts for the day.
Watch the sunset in the arms of my partner
Listening to the wave of the sea while reminiscing how my day went with a heart of gratitude, appreciating the fact that I am privileged to walk through life, the opportunity to make decisions based on what I know and despite the rogue wave of life, I unskillfully scale through.
Arrrrgggg so here it is, sometimes I wonder if I can just spend it under my blanket but if it's my last, I want to explore
No regrets!

Skydiving sure is scary but a one-time moment for some. I would want to try that as well! Freedom and joy must be two of the best things one could ever experience in their last birthday. Great entry, you have!
Thank you
I am excited just by the thought of it, i hope i am as bold as my thought.😇
