INTRODUCTION
Childhood was fun actually, full of many activities, and pranks. I come from Nigeria where there are a lot of games and playful activities which got us more than one time into trouble. The funniest part is that, even after been punished,we still go back and do the same thing we were punished for. What a life?
As we grew older, our pattern of games and activities changes, we become more mature and sometimes get into bigger trouble. Till we finally leave some things behind as we grew older.
I will share with us one funny experience I had while growing up,keep reading.
HOW I MESSED UP
That particular day,mum was at home, she didn't go out due to health issues,it was on a Saturday,we didn't go to school either. We live in a two storey building,a rented apartment and we stayed at the second floor. In our backyard we had flower vase where we planted aleo Vera.
So that Saturday morning,I walk to the backyard and straight to the vase and saw about 5 tiny eggs, they were lizard eggs.
I took them went to the kitchen, I got groundnut oil , trying to fry the egg to see what it looks like. At this time I was about 7 years old. I put on the stove and placed the frying pan on it, added a very large quantity of oil , then I threw the eggs inside of it to fry.
HOW I GOT CAUGHT*
In the process of frying ,smoke from the over heated oil filled the house, at the same time my mum woke to ease herself and noticed the smoke coming out of the kitchen, the moment I heard her voice I knew she was coming to the kitchen and I knew I was gonna get the beating of my life.
MY PUNISHMENT
My punishment was actually self inflicted. I ran out of the kitchen to avoid the beating, I ran out of the house and started running down stairs. My mum asked my brother to go after me and get me. I ran for my dear life, in the process of running,I fell hitting my legs on a stone, my toes nail opened and fell off. There was so much blood, my brother had to lead me by the hand home. When my mum saw what happened to me,she did not beat me again. You see why I said my punishment was self inflicted.
So this is one childhood prank, I will never forget.

You're welcome.
Lol, looking back now, i just laugh a lot, I just wanted to see what it would have looked like, not thinking of the consequences or the troubles it would cost me and my house... Well, that's that. Smiles... The good old days.
