LOH236: I Choose Healthy Eating

Years back, I was the kind of person that didn't care about what I put in my stomach. I ate everything eatable and drank everything drinkable. My favorite food then was junk food. I could take bread and tea as breakfast , Indomie as lunch, and then egg rolls as dinner.

I don't normally look at the diet and ingredients they contain; I would also eat whatever food I crave.

Diets should be considered first before consuming any food, as they can be very detrimental to our health; they can cause hormonal imbalance and other nutrition problems.

I changed my eating habits when I started facing some challenges, ranging from constipation to hormonal imbalance. I suffered severe constipation because I hardly consumed fruit and vegetables, which aid digestion. I would always jump from one junk food to another, from bread to gala, meat pie, buns, egg rolls, chin-chin, biscuits, etc,

I thought I was doing myself a favor by satisfying my cravings without knowing that I was indirectly killing myself.

This junk food affected my beauty too. I used all the expensive cream and soap you could think of, but my body was still strong, and my face was filled with pimples.

When I started having hormonal imbalance, I was advised to go on a fruit fast for one month by a friend.

I will advise anyone going through hormonal imbalance to try this, as it worked perfectly for me: blend watermelon and drink it as water; you will not take any other water for a complete month, and then with fruit fasting for thirty days, you will see how your hormones will become normal.

By the time I was done with the thirty days fruit fast, everything had changed. The constipation was gone, the hormonal imbalance disappeared, and my body came back to normal. Even without applying cream on my body, it was still glowing.

I changed my eating habits completely and move to my native food as some of my native food contains all classes of food.

I came to realize the negative impacts of junk food and stopped consuming it much as it wasn't easy for me to stop it completely.

In my country there is also some food that is not very healthy, but that does not mean that we stop eating it all is in moderation is the most appropriate to keep us healthy especially do some kind of physical activity that you like walking dancing jogging the most important thing is not to fall into a sedentary lifestyle my paternal grandmother lived 103 years and ate everything even ate junk, but his secret was that she was always active walking doing something.

Really,that is wonderful, is very difficult to see someone that pass 100years in my country and I believe is because of what we consume, I never knew excercice contribute a lot in dietary, I will start my own.thanks for your wonderful comment @faniaviera

Too much of a bad thing is worse than Too much of a good thing.
Good for you making a purposeful turning away from the kind of junk food that is meant to get us by to our next proper meal rather than becoming the meal itself.

There was a time I got addicted to junks..mine was due to laziness back then...I just choose what is more easier to eat and that's all
Junks isn't healthy...not what we should be consuming always
