The thing is, some things cannot be completely eradicated, like this marriage issue. As you rightly mentioned, women are still measured by things like that. The sweet thing about it is that we are beginning to know and love ourselves better. We are beginning to stand against some ills and pursue the lives we want. You're not a failure. If you're interested in getting married, the right man will grace your life soonest and you'll be ready to have him in your life. If you do not have any interest in getting married, you're still as special. Marriage doesn't define us. I have seen married women who'll do anything to be called single again.
