¿Cuál es tu recuerdo / recuerdos favoritos de la infancia?
What’s your favourite childhood memory/memories?
Puedo confesar que mi niñez fue extremadamente inquieta, siempre tenía algo que hacer (jugar) tuve la dicha de tener muchos vecinitos contemporáneos a mi edad, todos los días salíamos a la calle a jugar bien sea juegos de niñas o juegos de niños, aunque la verdad jugábamos más a la pelota que a otra cosa. Los días de cumpleaños navidad o cualquiera otra celebración nos reuníamos a inventar manualidades.
I can confess that my childhood was extremely restless, I always had something to do (play) I had the joy of having many contemporary neighbors at my age, every day we went out to the street to play either girl games or boys games, although the We really played ball more than anything else. On birthdays, Christmas or any other celebration, we would get together to invent crafts.
A pesar de tener una bonita infancia, lo que en realidad me gusta recordar es el tiempo que estudiaba, yo cursaba el segundo grado de primaria, cuando en el colegio que estudiaba seleccionaron una niña que estudiaba 5to grado, tres años mayor que yo, para que fuera la reina del deporte, ya que en el colegio solían practicarse mucho deporte en especial juegos de futbol entre los varones y voleibol para la niñas, yo estaba ansiosa por estar en el 3er grado para poder participar en los juego de voleibol y esforzarme por ser la mejor para así obtener la banda del deporte.
Despite having a beautiful childhood, what I really like to remember is the time I was studying, I was in the second grade of primary school, when at the school I was studying they selected a girl who was studying in the 5th grade, three years older than me, to that she was the queen of sports, since at school they used to play a lot of sports, especially soccer games for boys and volleyball for girls, I was anxious to be in the 3rd grade to be able to participate in the volleyball games and make an effort to be the best to get the sports band.
Siempre estuve presente en los juegos y observaba cada movimiento en todos los partidos, cuando por fin empecé a cursar el 3er grado estuve inquieta hasta que un día llego un profesor al salón y pregunto ¿Quién de las niñas quiere aprender a jugar voleibol? Yo creo que fui la primera en levantar la mano, recuerdo que de mi salón fuimos varias que nos anotamos pero solo 6 niñas serían las calificadas para jugar obviamente las más destacadas y sobre todo si mantenían buenas calificaciones, yo trataba de dar todo mi esfuerzo porque mi meta era ser la reina del deporte.
I was always present at the games and watched every movement in all the games, when I finally began to attend the 3rd grade I was restless until one day a teacher came to the classroom and asked, Who among the girls wants to learn to play volleyball? I think I was the first to raise my hand, I remember that there were several from my classroom who signed up but only 6 girls would be qualified to play obviously the most outstanding and especially if they maintained good grades, I tried to give all my effort because my goal was to be the queen of sports
Para el 5to grado, un par de meses después de tanta practica el profesor decidió seleccionar las 6niñas que jugarían con otras escuelas, mis nervios estaban a flor de piel sentía que si no sería seleccionaba lloraría allí mismo delante de todos mis compañeros, jejeje la primera en ser nombrada fue ELIS GRANADOS, ella era la más chiquita de todas pero muy audaz. La segunda YENEIZA MADERA, para entonces una niña muy cariñosa con todos, la 3era en ser nombrada fui yo, ese preciso momento pegue un fuerte grito y brinco de emoción luego reaccione y pregunte ¿me nombraron a mi verdad? Porque precisamente había otra niña con el mismo nombre, gracias a dios si fui yo porque si no bueno la vergüenza jeje.
For the 5th grade, a couple of months after so much practice the teacher decided to select the 6 girls who would play with other schools, my nerves were on the surface I felt that if I was not selected I would cry right there in front of all my classmates, hehehe the first to be named was ELIS GRANADOS, she was the smallest of all but very audacious. The second YENEIZA MADERA, by then a very affectionate girl with everyone, the 3rd to be named was me, that precise moment I gave a loud cry and jumped with emotion then I reacted and asked, did they name me to my truth? Because there was precisely another girl with the same name, thank God it was me because if not, good shame hehe
Desde ese momento seguí esforzándome cada vez más porque a medida que iban pasando los meses hacían cambios de niñas porque a la final iban flaqueando, en el colegio era feliz tuve compañeros y profesores extraordinarios que todavía tengo la dicha de tener tratos con muchos de ellos
From that moment on I kept trying more and more because as the months went by they made changes of girls because in the end they were weakening, at school I was happy I had extraordinary classmates and teachers that I still have the joy of having dealings with many of them
Después de tantos juegos y competencias con otros colegios por fin llegue al 5to grado firme jugando al voleibol para mí era una diversión fenomenal ya que siempre ha sido mi deporte favorito, para el mes de noviembre escogían a la niña que sería la representante de los juegos varoniles en futbol, mi mayor sorpresa fue que el profesor me nombro a mí para ser esa niña la reina del deporte en ese momento si llore pero de alegría, regrese a mi casa contenta y le conté a mi mamá el motivo de mi alegría.
After so many games and competitions with other schools I finally reached the 5th grade firmly playing volleyball for me it was a phenomenal fun since it has always been my favorite sport, for the month of November they chose the girl who would be the representative of the games manly in soccer, my biggest surprise was that the teacher appointed me to be that girl the queen of sport at that moment if I cried but with joy, I returned home happy and told my mother the reason for my happiness.
Nunca olvidare las palabras de mi madre (hija ese es el resultado cuando las cosas se hacen con esfuerzos y fe, ahorita eres una niña y es lo que te hace feliz, y yo también me siento feliz) mi mama al terminar de hablar sentí un nudo en la garganta la abrace y llorando le dije ahora me tienes que comprar un traje muy bonito, mi mama soltó una carcajada de risas diciendo QUE BARBARIDAD.
I will never forget the words of my mother (daughter that is the result when things are done with effort and faith, right now you are a girl and it is what makes you happy, and I also feel happy) my mother when I finished speaking I felt a I hugged her throat and crying I told her now you have to buy me a very nice suit, my mom laughed out loud saying THAT BARBARITY.
Para entonces veía una seria donde actuaba una muchacha que vestía de minifalda, zapatos deportivos con medias hasta las rodillas y franela y usaba dos pompones y así yo quería vestir, mi mama me compro justo lo que le pedí y mi papa me hizo los pompones más lindos del mundo, la escuela me otorgo la banda. Todavía cierro mis ojos y me veo vestida así y me encanta. Por todo el año escolar participe en todos los juegos representando al equipo. Para mí fue una etapa muy bella porque disfrute lo que en realidad quería vivir
By then I saw a series where a girl was acting who wore a miniskirt, sports shoes with knee-high socks and flannel and wore two pompoms and that was how I wanted to dress, my mother bought me just what I asked for and my father made me more pompoms beautiful people in the world, the school gave me the band. I still close my eyes and I see myself dressed like this and I love it. For the entire school year participate in all games representing the team. For me it was a very beautiful stage because I enjoyed what I really wanted to live
