Hi Ladies, have you had a good day? May you always be filled with happiness.
Tonight, on the sidelines of my daily activities, I remembered about the contest held by Ladies of Hive. A few days ago I was mentioned by my friend Titis to join this contest as well. Seeing an interesting theme, I am happy to participate in this contest.
Of all the themes in the ladies of hive contest this week, I prefer to live a week without electricity.
I think a week without electricity is still much better than a week without water.
Living without electricity reminds me of an area in remote Karawang. There stood a school that was still in charge of another school during the national exams.
Bumi Pertiwi Elementary School, stands to unite children in the Wanajaya environment that is not touched by electricity.
Even for school they have to pass through the valley, the road is steep for hours on foot. Not to mention if it rains heavily, the terrain is twice as dangerous. It often happens that volunteers who are not used to passing through the field fall from their motorbikes or fall on the road.
Seeing how the children and the community in Wanajaya have survived until now, I think living without electricity is not a problem. We can still use other alternatives.
Ramadan 2019,
I know this place for the first time. Sign up to be a volunteer when an iftar is held with the students of SD Bumi Pertiwi.

I was shocked at first. Certain? In 2019 in Karawang which is famous for its magnificent malls and industrial cities, are there still remote places where there is no electric lighting?
And that is right. The Remote Areas of the Earth Reading Park, a Reading Garden that was founded by Ms. Yuni, et al. really helps the continuity of learning here.
By providing teaching volunteers, volunteer photographers to further explore activities, and collecting donations for school supplies, uniforms and building public facilities such as wells, toilets, and other things needed.

All done by empowering human kindness.
And having been a part of them even for a while, I feel happy.
I hope that in the future the children who still have difficulty reading and counting there will be well resolved.

Because what is more important than living without electricity is living with science and knowledge.
Desire to be a tireless learner and give up.
LOH
See you in another post.
I agree! hehehehe electricity is only a modern invention - but water??? it has been around since the beginning and is a NECESSITY of life :)
it wouldn't be fun to be without our internet connections hahahaha or the things we have become dependent on for convenience - but i remember one day when the well ran dry for 3 days - and oh my gosh- THAT was a nightmare. hahahaha I never want to be without water again! LOL
great entry into the challenge this week :) you entered at the last second - just like me hahahahahahaha but we got in! :)
Yes, it is true, life without water would be very miserable. Even a day without being touched by water, our body smells change, what if a week, LOL...
Because approaching the deadline makes the spirit, :)
hahahahaha exactly! i feel the same way about the deadline! hehehehe
and yes - our body smells change for sure hahahaha but also - our thirst is so intense!!!!!! LOLOLOL
my goodness - its making me thirsty now hahahaha
Yes, how will we move if our bodies smell and our bodies are dehydrated?
hahahahahahahahahahahahah this comment is cracking me up

You received 5 LADY(LOH) tokens for entering the Ladies of Hive contest.
Please note that since our LOH token is still so new, that it will be worth more if we HOLD them for a bit before trying to sell them. Some have been trying to sell them immediately after receiving them, but holding them for a bit will help them to increase in value! We are working behind-the-scenes to try to keep the price stable, but the "sell orders" are hampering the stabilization of the price of this new token. Please hold on to your tokens. Thank you! 🙂
thank you
thank you
Yup, water is a necessity!

Yes, I'm grateful that there is a room for storytelling and sharing for women here.
Wow!!
In a town that has malls and yet in the outskirts to have a life without electricity
I don't know how I'd do it (though I'd learn how to adapt of course), this way of life may be just as amazing :D
Thank you for sharing @salmakeant
Indeed, social and cultural life is lagged far.
Humanity live thousands of years before electricity using candles and oil lamps but many civilizations crumbled without water.
Thanks @salmakeant for sharing and Welcome to Ladies of Hive! 🤗
Yes, right. You're welcome :)
The last photo is cool! It looks like a scene from a movie!
I can't imagine how to live without electricity nowadays. I was living in a rural place, we don't have electricity and we still drink from the oasis. But that was years ago. I'm still a little kiddo, so I don't really mind about it. But now... Nah Nah. I definitely die without electricity (especially because I work with the internet things).
Yes, that's right, for those of us who live with the internet, of course electricity is as important as water
