Ladies Contest #144. Breeding for a world without conditioning: The fight against racial discrimination.

in Ladies of Hivelast year (edited)

Dear community of women...

I am excited and honored to be a part of this contest that addresses such a relevant and pressing issue: racial discrimination. As a woman I firmly believe in the importance of joining forces to build a more equal and fair society for all.

I will tell you about my experience in this regard, I live in Brazil with my 8-year-old daughter, I have experienced first-hand the painful reality of racial discrimination that significantly affects girls and women. My heart breaks every time my daughter confesses that she feels slighted because of her beautiful tan color. Hearing her say that she considers herself ugly because of her skin tone or that her peers don't accept her because she is from another country, has prompted me to face this personal and social challenge with determination.

In my role as a mother, I understand the importance of being a positive influence and a mainstay for my daughter. Fostering their self-esteem is my primary duty. Through unconditional love and acceptance of her unique beauty, I want my daughter to proudly embrace her skin color and understand that she is precious and beautiful just the way she is.

Additionally, I strongly believe that as mothers, we have the power to make a difference in the fight against racial discrimination. From home, we can teach our children about equality and mutual respect for all people, regardless of ethnicity. We must be role models and challenge our own biases, to raise conscientious and fair children who do not perpetuate harmful stereotypes.

Education is the basis for building a more inclusive world free of conditioning. We must promote cultural and racial diversity, and teach our children to value and respect differences. It is through understanding and empathy that we can overcome discrimination and build a more tolerant and compassionate society.

As women and mothers, we have a duty to be advocates for equality. We can be agents of change by advocating for policies and laws that promote equality and protect the rights of all people, regardless of race or gender. By coming together as women and as a society, we can create a future where racial discrimination is a thing of the past.

In short, raising for a world without conditioning means actively confronting racial discrimination. As mothers, we have the power to influence our daughters' self-esteem and perception, building a solid foundation of self-love and acceptance. Through education and the promotion of equality, we can forge a more inclusive and respectful future for all girls and women. Together, we can make a difference and be agents of change in the fight against racial discrimination, thus creating a more just and loving world for our daughters and sons.

I hope my participation will inspire other women to raise their voices and join this fight against racial discrimination. Together, we can make a difference and build a more just and loving future for all girls and women in our community and around the world.

With gratitude and determination,

A beautiful young lady who will go far with a mother supporting her through times when people still hold beliefs that astound. Children are taught within the home, no child is born seeing colour, it is taught.

Recent studies have found "light brown" skin tones to be more physically attractive, we are what we have inherited from our ancestors, we should all be proud in the skin we are in.

That's right friend, at home we must promote empathy and respect

Children simply don't realize how to respond, by reading books about different cultures, watching TV on travel helps them realize the world is made up of many different people.
