Les cuento que fui con mi hija a una librería en la ciudad, y déjenme decirles que este lugar e encantó a mi hija y a mí nos encantan los libros y cuando vamos algún lugar y vemos una librería abierta no podemos evitar entrar.
I tell you that I went with my daughter to a bookstore in the city, and let me tell you that this place loved my daughter and I love books and when we go somewhere and see an open bookstore we can't help but go in.
Al entrar a la librería, lo primero que vimos fue un enorme globo terráqueo en una esquina. Y ¿saben qué estaba haciendo mi hija? ¡Localizando América Latina y, en particular, Venezuela! Verla tan inmersa en el mapa, con sus ojos brillantes mientras señalaba su ubicación, me llenó de orgullo y emoción.
Upon entering the bookstore, the first thing we saw was a huge globe in one corner. And do you know what my daughter was doing? Locating Latin America and, in particular, Venezuela! Seeing her so immersed in the map, her eyes sparkling as she pointed out its location, filled me with pride and excitement.
Una de las cosas que nos gustó de esta librería es que tiene rincones acogedores donde las personas podían comer una deliciosa merienda o tomar un café, mientras se sumergían en las páginas de sus libros favoritos. ¡Qué gran idea! Mi hija y yo decidimos sentarnos disfrutar de unos bocadillos mientras compartíamos nuestras impresiones sobre los libros que estábamos explorando.
One of the things we liked about this bookstore is that it has cozy corners where people could eat a delicious snack or have a coffee, while immersing themselves in the pages of their favorite books. What a great idea! My daughter and I decided to sit down and enjoy some snacks while we shared our impressions of the books we were exploring.

Me preguntan si encontré un libro que me llamó la atención. Pues sí, encontré dos. Queen Charlot que quería leer desde hace un tiempo, porque vi la película en Netflix y me gustó mucho y tenía muchas ganas de leer el libro. Y otro libro que escogí fue uno titulado "Cuando todo está en llamas. La fe surge de las llamas". Se trata de resiliencia, esperanza y fortaleza en tiempos de crisis, adversidad y dificultades extremas. Temas que me apasionan porque me invitan a crecer como persona.
They ask me if I found a book that caught my attention. Well yes, I found two. Queen Charlot that I wanted to read for a while, because I saw the movie on Netflix and I really liked it and I really wanted to read the book. And another book I chose was one called "When Everything Is On Fire. Faith Comes From The Flame." It is about resilience, hope, and strength in times of crisis, adversity, and extreme hardship. Topics that I am passionate about because they invite me to grow as a person.
