Oh yes isn't it funny how we get attached to our own vehicles? People must look at Buttercup and think 'oh give me a van/caravan/landcruiser/unimog anyday'.

I don't know if all people get attached with their vehicles but I, most certainly, do :)
Oh we do for sure .. they take on character! I mean, I keep writing about ours so we clearly love her!
