Hello everyone. It is a pleasure to be here and to make my first post on this platform.

My names are Nkefor Rosita but my username is @r-nkefor. I am a 20 year old female from the town of Bamenda in the Northwest Region of Cameroon. I am the third out of four children and hail from Awing village.

I am currently a student studying Mathematics at the University of Bamenda, particularly in the Higher Teachers Training College. I am in my final year so I'll be graduating by October 2022.

My hobbies include singing, dancing, drawing, reading, writing, plaiting, sewing and many other forms of creative art such as embroidery.

I actually created this account five months ago but I had no directions. I still have no directions but I know that I shall meet wonderful people here who will guide me on what to do and what not to do.

I hope to make many friends from all over the globe here, while also earning.

Thank you for reading.

Hello @r-nkefor! This is @jcrodriguez from the @OCD team. Welcome to hive!

Congratulations on making your first publication and introducing yourself to the community. How did you get to know the platform? You can name and tag the person who introduced you to Hive, so they can find out that you have already started publishing and they are sure to be pleasantly surprised.

You can explore the communities that you may like in this post: OCD Communities Incubation Program. There is a wide variety of topics. Check out all the communities. If you are looking for tips and information as a Hive newbie, click here: newbie guide. They are easy to understand and useful for learning how the platform ecosystem works.

You may encounter RC (Resource Credits) issues when trying to comment/post because you don't have enough Hive Power in your account yet. You can fix this with a one week temporary delegation through the Gift Giver Site. Another solution is for the person who recommended Hive to delegate some Hive Power to you.

Please be aware that Hive is a bit different from other social media platforms since you are monetizing your blog, so it is important not to include content that you don't own without sources (and it shouldn't exceed 50% of the post). For more information, check this post - Why and How People Abuse and Plagiarise by hivewatchers.

If you have questions or concerns, you can hop into OCD's Discord server and we'll gladly answer your questions.
