E$c@pe to $1 Million Dollars $$$$$

I've got my excel sheet and calculator ready.
$1,000,000 = one million dollars, this is Php 50,748,500 in Philippine Peso under the current market exchange rate today.
This is also my current escape from the reality I am living in right now.

So what will I do with $1,000,000 dollars?
Here is the thing..
First, I will pay off my house in the Philippines in full roughly estimated to be at Php3.5M and install Solar Panels in the house as well, let's be generous and do it at Php500,000. I will also buy our ancestral lot - this is different from the house I built - and renovate it very very nicely to accommodate family members who wish to reside. this costs - Php1M lot and renovations for Php2M is good enough. I will have a budget for furniture and fixtures at Php500,000.

TOTAL LOT AND HOUSING EXPENDITURES = Php 7,500,000

Whew, we still have the Php50M to allocate.
I will give Php5M to my mother so she can spend it the way she wants and help the people she wants to help.
Php5M to my sister too, she can spend this or invest this anyway she wants.
Php5M to my wife and life partner, she can spend this anyway she wants.
I will give my two best friends one million each and @mutedgeek one million pesos to spend however they want. = Php3M

Php1M - I will share with other family members like cousins and nieces and nephews.
Php1M - to share with a charitable institution for kids to support their needs.

TOTAL SPENT = Php 20,000,000

This now gives me the rest of Php30,000,000 that I can save and invest. First, I must put out in savings worth 3 years of our household expenditures. Lets say our monthly expenditures will be on a Php50,000 so I will need to save up Php1.8M set aside only for our living expenses.
I will invest Php2.0M on a retirement fund.
Maybe spend Php1.0M in travel and leisure for the meantime while enjoying life as we know it. Being together as a family is the most important part of enjoying for me. So traveling together as a family with my best friends will be the ideal dream come true.

I will probably invest Php5.0M in different mutual funds or other UITFs that earns dividends and make my money work for me.

TOTAL SPENDING - Php9,800,000

The rest of the Php20,000,000 will be on a savings account I can have access to or will be invested on term investments with high gains, but not all.

Of course, I will leave the island and find a remote job that I will enjoy, go home and have some rest and relaxation with the family to savor the good moment and happy feeling. Knowing myself, I may take a vacation but not stop working at all. I might buy a really good Patek Philippe watch and Doc Martens sandals and go to Uniqlo and shop and buy that Hedgren bags I always look at. That's what I will be spending on myself. Oh and buy some gold jewelries too.

I will book me and my wife to go on a trip that we never had a chance to do and enjoy our alone time.

We will go to a BTS concert front row with soundcheck pass and buy all merch we want to have and wear and all Online concerts going forward.

Maybe, this will be the time I get myself a coffee maker or grind my own coffee.

Even with a million dollars, I still imagine myself living simply, with the rest of my loved ones, knowing that I have them fully secured and that gives me peace. If I have my shelter, food, utilities and health secured, I will be OK. We can continue living and loving each other and working still or managing a business.

Money.Money.Money. Oh if only I have the money!!!!
