I love board games too, I love to compete with real and not virtual people, win, lose, laugh, while we play and eat some snacks.
I also love to read and I had abandoned it because of so many day to day responsibilities. However, I resumed reading for bedtime. After taking care of my house, feeding my son dinner and putting him to bed, I take a warm bath and get into bed to read, even if it's only for 15 minutes. It relaxes me and puts me into a deep sleep.
