Excellent write. So many great points mentioned here. I have the same opinion. I have been living and enjoying a relatively simple and minimalist life for many years already and I only use those technologies and achievements of the modern world that allow me to maintain this lifestyle. Definitely feel more comfortable and free just with my backpack in the real jungle than in an office in the concrete jugle :)
