It's usually milder here and even if it's cold, it usually lasts only for couple days. So it feels really exceptional

I used to live Finland, I had plenty of -40 days in my life, but I have been in Spain for 8 years and this is my winter and it's bloody awful. For me summer starts at +28 degrees

28 degrees C. I can't wait for that to come back to New York. For winter, January has been mild here. February-- that's another matter over here. 10 degrees C isn't much to brag about, but it's better than 0C/32F.
Yeah, I'm originally from Finland! I was once in new york during December and oh boy was it cold in there! It was even snowing
Finland, OK! I had thought you were from Barcelona or elsewhere in Catalonia. It's safe to say you're enjoying life in Spain. 😎
New York City gets cold, just not as cold as Chicago or anywhere in Northern Europe. Due to geography, snowfall is usually limited to 3 snowstorms each winter. Snow in NYC isn't even fun for people not working that day; snow turns to slush, and slush is a hassle for both drivers and pedestrians.
Yeah I saw that, the whole city stopped functioning 😅
