Thank you for this. It is so easy to feel like the next person will mock us again or is even probably mocking us in their minds once you go through constant mockery. Like in my former crush case. He might be sincere with his statement but I'll never know because I was scared and I easily judged him based on what others normally say to me.

So really, not everyone out there is senseless. Not everyone thought I was ugly. But did I agree with this back then? No.
