Powering Up Goal | One Step at a Time #LOH 269

This year, I sat down with myself and asked a simple question: what goal do I really want to achieve on Hive? The answer came clearly, I want to power up my HP, because on this platform, HP is truly my highest power. It’s not just a number. It’s a reflection of commitment, growth, and how much you believe in what you’re building.

Last year, I didn’t do anything extraordinary. I just showed up. I powered up whenever I could, even when it felt small. By the end of the year, I had powered up over 500 HP, and honestly, that felt really good. There were times I wanted to cash out instead. Times when life needed money urgently. Times when consistency felt hard. But choosing to power up taught me discipline and patience, and looking back now, I’m proud of that effort.

This year, I want to challenge myself even more.

My goal is to power up 5,000 HP.

It sounds big, and I won’t lie, it scares me a little 😂. But it also excites me. Setting a big goal means I have to grow into it. I have to be more intentional with my time, my content, and my mindset. It means I can’t rely on motivation alone; I need consistency.

I’ve learned that powering up doesn’t happen magically. It comes from showing up and creating content, even on days when you don’t feel inspired. Writing is what fuels the power-up, so if I want to reach 5k HP, I need to stay committed to writing.

This year, I’m choosing consistency over pressure. I don’t want to burn out or force perfection. I just want to be present and real.

My main focus will be food content. Food is something I genuinely enjoy. It’s part of everyday life, and it carries stories, culture, and memories. I want to share simple meals, local dishes, kitchen experiences, and honest food moments not just the perfect ones. If I make mistakes, I’ll share them too. I want my food content to feel warm, relatable, and human.

Alongside food, I’ll be doing more micro-blogging. Short posts, quick thoughts, daily reflections, lessons I learn along the way. Sometimes, a few lines say more than a long article. Micro-blogging helps me stay active, connected, and consistent without overthinking.

I’ll also be writing more lifestyle content, about growth, emotions, discipline, relationships, and everyday struggles. Hive isn’t just about niches; it’s about people. I want my page to reflect my journey, not just my output.

I know there will be days when I feel tired, uninspired, or discouraged. Engagement might be low. Life might get busy. But I’m reminding myself that every small effort counts. Every post matters. Every power-up, no matter how small, is progress.

My hope is not just to reach 5k HP, but to do better than I did last year, mentally, creatively, and consistently. If I stay committed to the process, I believe the results will follow.

This year, I’m choosing growth over comfort, patience over rushing, and consistency over excuses. My HP is my highest power, and I’m ready to power it up, one post, one power-up, one day at a time.

With consistency i know i can achieve my goal, if i get to power up at least 5 HP everyday, i believe I'd be able to reach my goal.
