What I've been doing these days - Staying at home edition :)

Hello guys! I took a lot of random photos lately that I decided to put in one post and share some parts of my daily routines, habits and what has been going on.

My main focus these days was to get back into the habit of studying and it's not going that bad. Going through all the material is going slower than I wish but I just want to make it a solid habit and part of my daily routine. Even if some days I'm super busy, if I can take even half an hour, it will be enough to keep the flow going. I am also making daily to-do lists which is something that always helps me to stay more organized.


My days also consist of a lot of coffee and sweets. Now I'm at the point of having three coffee's a day which is something I am not super happy with. I am having a little bit of this Milka chocolate I got for International Women's Day, seems like coffee and sweets have become my comfort when I study, haha.


This Hyacinth flower I also got for International Women's Day and now it fully bloomed! I keep it at my window seal and it makes me so happy looking at the pretty color of flowers, it reminds me of spring and gets me excited for warm weather!


I've been trying to get into reading books again but it's just not happening. I will not give up though as I really want to finish 1984. by George Orwell which is the book on the photo. On the other hand, I finish the first season (8 episodes) of Vikings: Valhalla in two days! Vikings is on top of my list of favorite TV shows and even though I have read some comments about Valhalla not being that good, I actually liked it and I am looking forward to season two. I don't think I'll start any series now as I want to focus on more important things but it has been nice to watch something in the evening. I am also glad I didn't stay up long as sometimes it happens when I like what I'm watching but I am very careful not to mess up my sleep schedule.

Sounds like you are doing good on sticking to your goals and routine! Sleep is very important, and just like you, I've been guilty of staying up later than I should to finish that episode, or just start one, only to end up finishing it, making bedtime much too late! Keep up the good work, and if coffee gets too much, try a decaf that is water processed. Take care!

Oh yes, that's why I think it would be better if I don't start watching anything for a while, haha. Maybe a mini series or a movie would be okay. :)

I'll have to look for some decaf options, thank you for the suggestion, I think that would be a great solution!

I hear you; we just finished 18 seasons of NCIS and have to wait until September when the 19 season will be out on DVD. We did not binge watch, but often stayed up later than we should have just to finish an episode we shouldn't have started due to the lateness of the hour!

If you have a coffee roaster nearby and they do small batches, that is the most perfect way to do the decaf. Beware of chemically decaf as it's not good for you. Take care!

Coffee and chocolate are the keys to this life.

Im on the same journey. Trying to have good routines, read more books before bedtime and eat less sweets. Even tho eat less sweets is way too hard 😂 But some days I am up way too late just scrolling on tik tok 🙈

I can recommend to try out tee or Just drink one cup of coffee in a periode of time. Coffee actually stop working if you are drinking the same amount all the time, that means that you have to drink more cups with it to get the same energizing feeling. Sadly enough. I have periods where I try not to drink it, and then start with one cup again ☺️

Oh yes, I also end up on TikTok for way too long, time literally flies and before I realize it's been an hour or two, haha.

I think that's what is happening to me now, I was drinking two coffee's a day and now I'm at three but for me it's more that habit of drinking it while I am working on University stuff or in front of my laptop (which is most of the day haha). I tried tea a couple of times, I guess I should try harder, lol. Or maybe even try decaf coffee.
