Big operation. Brave lady. I hope it was as successful as it looked and you're on your way back to full health. I'm guessing you now have to take your replacement hormone meds daily?
It's nice to have a private room, it looked very clean and functional but I would have been a bit freaked without a window!

Hey, @nathen007! I'm indeed taking Levothyroxine everyday for now, but changing the dosage starting tom 5x a week only.

She's doing well, just has six monthly checks now. Her weight fluctuations are much improved but her voice is unaffected. I believe she only takes two tablets a week for her hormone replacement therapy.
She's just getting on with living her normal life and trying not to think about 'what could have been'!
I hope you're dealing with the psychological issues as well as the physical ones.
Take your time and heal and take care of each other. All will be fine :-)
