Donation of medicines / donativo de medicamentos.

Hello! This is the beginning of a story I want to share with you, and tell you, bit by bit, what happened to me for trying to lend a helping hand to others!

  • Description: My project "Giving Smiles" was consolidated thanks to the creation of a network of strategic aid alliances called the Flux Army Foundation.

As a volunteer, I decided to take on the project in my hometown of Casanay

  • As a priority in response to the greatest basic need We are beginning the medication donation drive.

The first foray was to walk the streets and visit the homes of the most vulnerable and needy people. I knew the specific needs of the town. I knew where the neediest families lived. This allowed me to accurately monitor the distribution of aid, ensuring that the medicines were delivered to those who needed them most.

Start of the day.

With great excitement and joy, preparing for the delivery of supplies.

Mobile Pharmacy
In Venezuela, you'll find a mobile pharmacy like this one anywhere! A way to get the most affordable medications on the market.

Medicines purchased for the first day of donations.

I remember the girl who helped me was very kind. I was ignorant of what medications I could order. I explained the project to her, so she wrote and recommended a short list of the most commonly used medications.

  • Analgesics.
  • Anti-inflammatories.
  • Antibiotics.
  • Medications to treat chronic illnesses.
  • Other very common pediatric medications for children and asthma.

After several donations on the streets, the comments started to be heard, and people started to seek me out, asking for help with a specific medication.
This led us to Day 2 (door-to-door)

Looks like the basic essentials.
This sounds like a very needed program for the poorest Venezuelans. Are there volunteer nurses participating in the administering of these medications? A knowledgeable volunteer who be priceless to assess and document other issues that are needed.

Yes, there was one at the time. The idea of meeting with specialists and nurses to carry out another activity was even proposed. And count on their knowledge
