It's amazing how even in the age of globalization women still have to live less favored realities than their male counterparts. Cultures and traditions are vital, but I share what you say that education at home can make a difference and it is important to raise our daughters with enough self-esteem to not let themselves be trampled by others and to give their place and men to give their place and help women. I am an engineer and in my country women can be whatever they want, but they still carry the title of housewife, although in recent times marriages are allying to teamwork to work together at home and in professional life. I hope that soon the situation in your country can improve for the benefit of women.
