Esta semana @jane1289 ha propuesto en el post de la comunidad dos preguntas muy interesantes sobretodo en la modernidad donde ahora tenemos muchas opciones en el campo laboral.
Quiero comentar en este post un poco de mi opinión al respecto

I want to comment in this post a little of my opinion on the matter
Esta pregunta me parece interesante porque no tiene realmente una respuesta fácil puesto que ambas modalidades tienen sus ventajas y desventajas.
Para empezar, el trabajo convencional en primera instancia te aporta seguridad porque en la mayoría (a menos que ganes poe comisión) te garantiza una determinada cantidad de dinero fijo bien sea quincenal o mensual. Eso te permite organizarte mejor, evaluando gastos y cómo cubrirlos porque sabes que tendrás el dinero. También te permite socializar, apoyarte en otros compañeros lo que puede hacer la responsabilidad más sencilla de sobrellevar e incluso pueden ayudarse mutuamente.
Aparte te aporta una rutina que sí bien a muchas personas puede parecerles un aspecto negativo, lo cierto es que un ritmo de actividades estructurado, donde sabes exactamente qué hacer, a partir de cuándo y hasta qué hora permite que te sientas seguro, porque no estás a la deriva intentando averiguar qué hacer sino que ya lo sabes perfectamente.
Pero por supuesto este tipo de trabajo es limitante puesto que las jornadas laborales suelen ser largas lo que te quita tiempo para realizar otras actividades. También estás sometido a las normas de la organización o tus jefes, además de que debes cumplir con la rutina al pie de la letra lo que puede tornarse monótono. A su vez hay riesgo de tener un mal ambiente laboral, que tus derechos no sean respetados o que no poseas las condiciones óptimas para trabajar.
Por otro lado, ser freelancer te da la libertad de ser tu propio jefe, por lo que la rutina, el tiempo, actividades, condiciones de trabajo y el tipo de trabajo depende completamente de ti. Tú decides tu ritmo así como las condiciones, así que generalmente se realiza el trabajo con el que te sientes agusto.
Pero, el factor de la seguridad en el salario no existe, puesto que puede variar por muchos factores, como falta de clientes, variación en el precio por la economía, etc. Aparte de que al no tener otra persona para poder sobrellevar la carga de responsabilidad, ni siquiera para intentar solucionar problemas, puede ser contraproducente. También para algunos el no tener una estructura fija, una rutina, puede generar cierta inestabilidad.
This question seems interesting to me because it doesn't really have an easy answer since both modalities have their advantages and disadvantages.
To start with, conventional work in the first instance gives you security because in most cases (unless you earn by commission) it guarantees you a certain fixed amount of money, either fortnightly or monthly. This allows you to organize yourself better, evaluating expenses and how to cover them because you know you will have the money. It also allows you to socialize, rely on other colleagues, which can make the responsibility easier to bear, and you can even help each other.
Apart from this, it gives you a routine that, although many people may find it as a negative aspect, the truth is that a structured rhythm of activities, where you know exactly what to do, from when and until what time, allows you to feel secure, because you are not adrift trying to figure out what to do.
But of course this type of work is limiting since the work shifts are usually long, which takes away time to do other activities. You are also subject to the rules of the organization or your bosses, and you must follow the routine to the letter, which can become monotonous. At the same time, there is a risk of having a bad work environment, your rights not being respected, or not having the optimal conditions to work.
On the other hand, being a freelancer gives you the freedom to be your own boss, so the routine, time, activities, working conditions, and type of work depend completely on you. You decide your pace as well as the conditions, so generally you do the work you feel comfortable with.
However, the security factor in salary does not exist, since it can vary due to many factors, such as lack of clients, variation in price due to the economy, etc. Apart from the fact that not having another person to bear the burden of responsibility, or even to try to solve problems, can be counterproductive. Also, for some, not having a fixed structure, a routine, can generate a certain instability.
En mi experiencia ha sido mucho más cómodo trabajar de freelance porque a pesar de ser una persona que necesita de la rutina y tener sus actividades estructuradas, tengo la opción de ser yo misma quien decida todos los parámetros, es decir, horario, espacio, a quién trabajarle, etc. Mi primer trabajo así fue dando lo que en mi país se conoce como tareas dirigidas que es básicamente clases extra de refuerzo del contenido escolar para niños. Yo establecía todo, desde los horarios, pagos, hasta los niños a quienes atendería. Me permitía controlar muchas cosas y me hacía sentir cómoda.
También en esta bonita plataforma tengo esa libertad de estructurar mis posts como quiera, hablar de las cosas que me interesan y administrar el tiempo que le dedico sin necesidad de rendir cuentas a nadie. Siempre preferiré ser mi propia jefa.
Aunque también he tenido trabajos convencionales desde los 17 años, como atención al cliente de una bodega pequeña, área administrativa en un colegio, entre otros, y lo único que me gustaba era la estabilidad del pago fijo porque así tenía la seguridad de conseguir determinada cantidad de dinero semanal o quincenal. Además me gustaba que podía socializar y aprender de las personas que compartían el espacio conmigo. Pero me desagradaba la poca autonomía que tenía así como (en la mayoría de casos) las pobres condiciones laborales, teniendo herramientas precarias o incluso ausentes. Para mí esas cosas negativas son las que me hacen preferir el Freelance.
In my experience, it has been much more comfortable to work as a freelancer because despite being a person who needs routine and having structured activities, I have the option of being the one who decides all the parameters, that is, schedule, space, who to work for, etc. My first job like this was giving what in my country is known as directed tasks, which is basically extra classes to reinforce school content for children. I established everything, from the schedules, payments, to the children I would teach. It allowed me to control many things and made me feel comfortable.
Also on this beautiful platform I have the freedom to structure my posts as I want, talk about the things that interest me and manage the time I dedicate to it without having to give explanations to anyone. I will always prefer to be my own boss.
Although I have also had conventional jobs since I was 17, such as customer service in a small convenience store, administrative area in a school, among others, and the only thing I liked was the stability of the fixed payment because that way I was sure of getting a certain amount of money weekly or biweekly. I also liked that I could socialize and learn from the people who share the space with me. But I disliked the little autonomy I had as well as (in most cases) the poor working conditions, having precarious or even absent tools. For me, these negative things are what make me prefer freelancing.

Siguiendo con la respuesta anterior en mi opinión el trabajo convencional te quita mucho tiempo por lo que el impacto en la vida personal es mayor. Claro, hay freelancers que también trabajan en una jornada prolongada pero en la mayoría de esos casos puedes decidir si hacerlo o no, en cambio como trabajador convencional no tienes esa opción. Debes ajustarte al horario sí o sí y si eso no es equilibrado te puede afectar en tus relaciones interpersonales y por ende en tu estado emocional.
Además si no posees buenas habilidades de regulación emocional y resolución de conflictos, las situaciones ocurridas en el trabajo pueden seguir afectándote incluso después de la jornada del día. Es importante saber gestionar esas emociones para encontrar la mejor manera de lidiar con situaciones como por ejemplo un cliente que haya sido desagradable, entendido que personas así pueden aparecer siempre y que no es tu responsabilidad complacerlo siempre sino aportar lo que está a tu alcance, sí, intentando suplir su necesidad pero no buscar hacerlo a toda costa porque a veces eso es imposible.
Siempre ocurrirá algo desagradable, pero lo mejor que puedes hacer en esos casos es respirar profundo, entender que no es tu culpa y dejarlo pasar como un mal trago, pero no enfocarte en ello.
Continuing with the previous answer, in my opinion, conventional work takes up a lot of your time, so the impact on your personal life is greater. Of course, there are freelancers who also work long hours, but in most of those cases you can decide whether to do so or not, whereas as a conventional worker you don't have that option. You have to adjust to the schedule no matter what, and if that isn't balanced, it can affect your interpersonal relationships and therefore your emotional state.
Also, if you don't have good emotional regulation and conflict resolution skills, situations that occur at work can continue to affect you even after the work shift is over. It's important to know how to manage those emotions to find the best way to deal with situations such as a client who has been unpleasant, understanding that people like that can always appear and that it's not your responsibility to always please them, but rather to provide what is within your reach, yes, trying to meet their need but not trying to do so at all costs because sometimes that is impossible.
Something unpleasant will always happen, but the best thing you can do in such cases is to take a deep breath, understand that it is not your fault and let it pass as a bad experience, but do not focus on it.
Es importante tener presente que la opinión respecto a ambas modalidades de trabajo probablemente varíen principalmente por las experiencias de cada persona, pero en general creo que el mejor trabajo que puedas tener es con el que te sientas realmente cómodo y productivo.
It's important to keep in mind that opinions on both types of work will likely vary based on each person's experiences, but in general I believe that the best job you can have is the one you feel truly comfortable and productive with.
Ambos tienen sus ventajas y desventajas como mencionas, trabajar de forma independiente parece algo ideal para todo ser humano, trabajas de lo que te gusta, manejas tus horarios, disfrutas de tu trabajo, pero ¿es realmente asi?
Y si trabajas bajo patron, tienes un sueldo garantizado, pero si es un ambiente feo o un trabajo esclavo, ¿esta bien?
Para todo hay que analizar los pros y contras, no todo es color de rosa, lo bueno y lo malo van de la mano... sino estariamos en un mundo ideal jaja

Tienes toda la razón. Cada trabajo tiene sus ventajas y desventajas, no existe una opción completamente buena o mala, solo una que se ajusta un poco más al ritmo de la persona, por lo que debe sopesar muy bien las condiciones antes de decidirse por uno o el otro.
Para mí es más cómodo el freelance aunque tiene sus aspectos negativos, pero no me niego a un trabajo convencional porque también sé que puedo aprovechar muchas cosas.
Tal como dices, nada es color de rosa (lamentablemente jaja)

not all conventional jobs have stability. Some are still on probation or can't get permanent contract,.the same as those in freelancing. there isn't stable income and work. it's like on and off.. both truly have pros and cons..
I agree with what @elbuhito said, many prefer to work independtly, but what we thought about it isn't always the result we get... and if we work with an employer, there are cases of overlabor ..toxic jobs.which isn't ideal either..
so, maybe let's with the one where we enjoy working and still give us a sense of freedom and content.

Yes, I totally agree with you @jane1289. At the end both options have positive and negative aspects that are equally important because any type of job as an impact in your life. So what we can do is to ponder it well enough, analice the conditions and decide which one makes you feel more comfortable but knowing that it will never be a perfect experience.

Realmente ninguna de las dos opciones es perfecta, tiene sus pros y sus contras. Cada quien entonces debe hacer una reflexión sobre qué realmente es lo que te funciona mejor.
