Creo que demostrar gratitud por aquellas cosas que tenemos en la vida es siempre muy importante. En ocasiones tendemos a dar todo por sentado, pensado que hay cosas que nunca nos van a faltar, que son totalmente seguras. Sin embargo en mi experiencia la vida me ha demostrado más de una vez que lo único seguro es que todo es incierto, por lo que nunca sabemos las cosas repentinas que pueden ocurrir así como pueden cambiar todo drásticamente.

Por eso, la pregunta planteada esta semana por @marivic10 me parece genial puesto que qué mejor manera de comenzar un nuevo año que agradeciendo todo aquello que nos dejó el pasado, tanto lo positivo como lo negativo...

I think showing gratitude for those things we have in life is always very important. Sometimes we tend to take everything for granted, thinking that there are things that we will never miss, that are totally insured. However, in my experience, life has shown me more than once that the only thing that is certain is that everything is uncertain, so we never know the sudden things that can happen and how they can change everything drastically.

Therefore, the question purposed this week by @marivic10 seems great to me since what better way to start a new year than by being grateful for everything that the past one left us, both the positive and the negative...

Creo que no puedo escoger un único momento o sólo una persona que haya hecho el 2023 un año tan especial puesto que fue un año donde ocurrieron tantas cosas que me dejaron enseñanzas y recuerdos bonitos, que se me hace imposible escoger. Así que mencionaré varias cosas que agradezco con el alma.

La primera fueron las pasantías profesionales que pude hacer en mi carrera, lo cual no solo me dejó más conocimientos respecto a la psicología sino que me permitió enamorarme más de la carrera así como avivar mi motivación a estudiarla. Poder poner en práctica todas aquellas cosas que aprendí me permitió ver que es algo para lo que cuento con las competencias adecuadas para hacer y que además disfruto hacer. Esas experiencias fueron de las mejores cosas que me pasaron ese año y las agradezco enormemente.

I don't think I can choose a single moment or just one person who made 2023 such a special year since it was a year where so many things happened that left me with lessons and beautiful memories, that it is impossible for me to choose. So I will mention a few things that I am truly grateful for.

The first was the professional internships that I was able to do in my career, which not only left me with more knowledge regarding psychology but also allowed me to fall more in love with the career as well as fuel my motivation to study it. Being able to put into practice all those things I learned allowed me to see that it is something for which I have the appropriate skills and that I also enjoy doing. Those experiences were some of the best things that happened to me that year and I greatly appreciate them.

También agradezco que el año pasado me permitió conectar con personas maravillosas que aportan cosas positivas a mi vida, personas que constantemente me demuestran su apoyo, cariño y amistad, que están allí para mí siempre. Considero que la vida se hace más bonita cuando te rodeas de amistades sinceras; yo he tenido la suerte de encontrar amigos verdaderos. Con algunos de ellos tengo fotos, con otros no ya que son a distancia pero que igualmente aprecio mucho, como @naath 💕

I am also grateful that last year allowed me to connect with wonderful people who bring positive things to my life, people who constantly show me their support, affection and friendship, who are always there for me. I believe that life becomes more beautiful when you surround yourself with sincere friendships; I have been lucky to find true friends. I have pics with some of them, with others I don't any since they are long distance friends but I still appreciate them a lot, one of them being @naath 💕

Y si de amistades verdaderas hablo, tengo que agradecerle enormemente al 2023 el haber tenido la oportunidad de volver a ver en persona a mi mejor amigo de toda la vida, quien hace mucho se fue del país. Pude volver a compartir con él durante varios meses que estuvieron llenos de risas, alegría y cariño (aunque a veces quiera matarlo😂). La verdad es una de las personas más importantes para mí

And if I'm talking about true friendships, I have to thank 2023 enormously for giving me the opportunity to see my lifelong best friend in person again, who left the country a long time ago. I was able to share with him again for several months that were full of laughter, joy and affection (although sometimes I want to kill him😂). To tell you the truth, he is one of the most important people to me

Además agradezco con toda mi alma todo el tiempo para poder compartir mi vida con una persona que me impulsa a crecer como persona, que me hace sentir feliz, segura y un montón más de cosas bonitas.

I am also grateful with all my soul all the time to be able to share my life with a person who encourages me to grow as a person, who makes me feel happy, safe and a lot of other beautiful things.

Por supuesto, no todo fue color de rosas. El 2023 me dió pérdidas, llantos, frustraciones, tristeza y muchas otras cosas que sí, hasta cierto punto son negativas, pero por otro lado son cosas que al haberlas vivido me dejaron sentimientos y reflexiones que puedo mantener para intentar modificar aquellas cosas que puedo mejorar. Las que no están bajo mi control, simplemente las tomo como experiencias que tenía que vivir y que son parte de mi historia. No las hace más sencillas de sobrellevar, pero son lo que son. Así que agradezco también esas cosas que no fueron de mi agrado pero de las que quizá algo tenía que aprender, para bien o para mal.

Así que gracias al 2023, por darme lo bueno y lo malo, puesto que en la vida se viven ambas cosas que de alguna u otra forma te dejan una marca que forman parte de lo que eres.

Of course, not everything was rosy. 2023 gave me losses, tears, frustrations, sadness and many other things that, yes, to a certain extent are negative, but on the other hand they are things that, having experienced them, left me with feelings and reflections that I can maintain to try to modify those things that I can improve. Those that are not under my control, I simply take them as experiences that I had to live and that are part of my story. It doesn't make them easier to cope with, but they are what they are. So I am also grateful for those things that I did not like but from which perhaps I had to learn something, for better or worse.

So thank you 2023, for giving me the good and the bad, since in life you experience both things that in one way or another leave a mark on you that are part of who you are.
