What do I consider when buying toys? My thoughts.

As a Mom, providing for our kids is not our only priority. Are there other like toys? Am I a spoiler then?, If I were to assess myself, not that much, and hoping I won't be. Yes, I buy only a few since my husband bought some the last time he went home for vacation.

What were my preferences in buying?

First, we may not be struggling financially, but we are not rich either. Income is just enough to meet ends, so the first one was the price. I find buying expensive toys a waste of money because;

Toddlers are toddlers; toys would end up broken after a few days or even hours.

His Daddy bought a battery-operated toy that would dance along with the music as the arms and eyes lit up. Yet, have you noticed something?

Iron Man lost a leg.

And Bumblebee and arm.

It happened so fast, my son picked it up and threw it on the floor.
Reason? No reason at all 😂.

For the past few days, he would ask me to let his robots dance, even imitating their moves, but how?

Iron Man could no longer stand, and Bumblebee's other parts seemed to lose. They are now PWDs 🤣.

Are cheaper toys better than?

I was the one who bought this online for $3. This would be nice and would entertain him as he pushes while walking around.

The propeller would rotate as the tires moved, making noise.

Expectation VS Reality

He doesn't like being pushed, but he wanted to be chased.

Yes, it was me who would push it, and he would run to escape. Since it was intended for babies, the handle was short and needed to be bent.

That gave me a back and hip ache 🤣.

**BUT here we go again! Saw online these LED projector night lamps and I was like, **surely my son would be entertained. ****

This worked with either a battery or being directly plugged into the electric outlet.

For $3, it was worth the money, and Caleb was so happy when I turned it on last night. Thus, I noticed he was staring at me. The next thing was something I didn't expect.
He caught the stars on my face with a full force slap! He is only 18 months, but the force was enough to let me see stars!

So, what to consider when buying toys? I can say, it's up to you, girl! As long as your kid is happy and safe.
