Finally, I had Me Time, going out while the husband was here.

I could no longer recall the last time I had a proper "me Time." Back then, I would treat myself to a salon, even just a simple foot spa. Thus, as I'd been tied up the past months, I was only contented with doing it on my own.

Last month, I went out to buy candies for Caleb's candy cup for his christening. One of the troubles here is the limited choices at the nearest grocery store and the heavy traffic if you choose to go to the city.* It was like Manila 😕.

As my sister-in-law was still at work and would accompany me on her break time, I happened to roam around and see this.

Without hesitation, I walked in and was amazed at the interior.

The logo and interior were so feminine. Also, I liked that it seemed they had opened, so it wasn't crowded yet.

Time to be beautiful. Oh yeah, we need to. Being a Mom doesn't mean we need to give up what we are used to.

Manicure, please! I told the receptionist.

The moment I sat down on the cushion, I felt relaxed. Perhaps it's the ambiance, plus I didn't need to be in a hurry. The husband was taking care of our son, so I was at ease.

There was a cushion for the legs to put on, a sink for your feet to soak, and a foot spa. I love the idea of seeing them carrying a basin.

I was sitting near the wall and couldn't help but appreciate the art—a flamingo. I first saw one when I visited Taiwan.

I'm finally done, and my toes look better now. Not bulge due to pregnancy and clean nails.

There are a lot of colors for the choices, but I am already done with the bright era! Most of the time, nude colors attract me.

Would you like to get a manicure, Ma'am? The salon staff asked. Initially, it wasn't included in my plan since I often wash dishes. Yet, I remembered that my husband is here, lol!

Of might be her convincing power. She has a warm personality and is quite chatty. She also mentioned that currently, she is the one buying milk for her granddaughter as his son and daughter-in-law are jobless. Mind you, the milk was expensive as the baby was premature. Indeed, the love of a Mom was incredible.

Back to the salon, here is the area for gel pedicure. Anyone had tried?

The hairdresser was assessing one of the client's hair.

He honestly said that he wasn't into income but for the welfare of his client. He suggested what would be the best, even if it meant a lesser amount.

And done! Though I know it won't last, at least it looks lovely.

In the following weeks, I plan to return here for hair treatment. It is not for rebonding, but some therapy may be needed so it looks better. Not that hair lion again 🤣.
