I'm glad you experienced this iftar unharmed. As a practicing Christian myself I would feel some reluctance to participate since I am familiar of the persecution and murder of Christians around northern Nigeria by the extreme Boko Haram and Fulani. But God still works miracles as there are more Christians there than in all of Canada being a Christian culture without the faith.
