Hello everyone, I'm happy to be part of the hive family. Today I bring to you all a very vital topic, when I say vital i mean for the women and mothers beside any one who is a female gender is also a woman.

The obesity diet;
Why I said this topic is mostly for females is because they are more prone to being obsessed than men. For instance, after child birth a woman tend to add up more than how she was and not being able to control these accumulation of fats in them my somehow lead to obesity. Yes! Most times it also occurs when one does a lot of exercise and after some time drops there is a possibility of Gaining weight. So, this obesity diets are mainly for those who are overweight and are willing to shade off some fats.
Obesity may result from excessive consumption of fuel foods, such as yams, friends foods or from grandular disorders of lack of exercise, sometimes psychological or emotional factors may cause a person to develop the bad nutritional habit of incessant eating and consequent overweight.
Whatever the cause maybe it's is important that an obsessed patient is placed on a reducing diet. And this should be under medical supervision. The aim of these diet is to help reduce their intake of joules. How is this possibly you may ask? I was taught that excess fatty acids, glycerol and glucose are converted into fats and stored in the fay depots in the body. So therefore when the joule intake is reduced to a lower level than that required by the body, stored fats will be reactivateda and utilised thereby reducing the weigh of the individual. During these process the patient weight should be recorded weekly and assessment should be carried out to compare differences or improvement per say.

Obesity diet nature
They are categories, these foods are
1.High calorie foods e.gfrieds foods, process meats etc.
2.Sugary drinks e.g soda,sport drinks
3.High sodium foods e.g snacks and canned foods.
Etc.

Effects of obesity on women's health

Obesity is a growing health concern worldwide, affecting millions of people, particularly women. The World Health Organization (WHO) defines obesity as a body mass index (BMI) of 30 or higher. Obesity is not just a cosmetic issue, but a serious health problem that increases the risk of various chronic diseases, including heart disease, stroke, diabetes, and certain types of cancer. In women, obesity has a profound impact on both physical and mental health, affecting their quality of life, self-esteem, and overall well-being.
The most significant effects of obesity on women's health is the increased risk of reproductive problems. Obesity is a major risk factor for infertility, miscarriage, and pregnancy complications, such as gestational diabetes and hypertension.
Obesity also increases the risk of various types of cancer in women, including breast, ovarian, and endometrial cancer. The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) has classified obesity as a carcinogen, highlighting its role in cancer development. Obesity can lead to chronic inflammation, insulin resistance, and hormonal imbalances, which can contribute to cancer growth and progression.
It can also affect women's quality of life, making everyday activities more challenging. Simple tasks, such as walking, climbing stairs, or carrying groceries, limit social participation, making it difficult for women to engage in activities they enjoy, such as exercise, travel, or spending time with friends and family.

In conclusion, obesity has a profound impact on women's physical and mental health, affecting their quality of life, self-esteem, and overall well-being. By taking a comprehensive approach to obesity prevention and treatment, we can improve the health and well-being of women. Remember to eat healthy and remain healthy.

This is truly an epidemic! I think that in the fast paced world we live in, it's so much easier to eat processed and packaged foods than to purchase whole foods and prepare them. Of course exercise of some variety is necessary as well. Think back 70+ years ago, before computers and serious desk jobs. Most people worked physical jobs; men farming and ladies, growing gardens for home produce; housework that didn't have the added convenience of the appliances of today, to help you get it done. Movement is necessary to remain physically fit and good nutrition as well. If we go back to basics, things will improve.

Yh like ... dating back the years I don't think things were like this. And I could remember vividly well when my grandma will tell me that in her days they ate lots of vegetables and you can imagine..
