Hello Bees, yesterday was a very special day. My sister's birthday.
Last year she won a contest, face of city cruz and was crown queen. She was given a price for that and amogst that, she was given a guarantee for her next birthday to be celebrated by city cruz.
As a baker, i was contacted to make a birthday cake so i decided to make a jewelry box cake for her.
I wanted to invite alot of people but due to the time of the celebration, it will be late for my friends to go back so i invited just my friend jessica.
Well i really did not know how the occasion was planed, or the number of guest expected. All i had to do was to go and deliver the cake.
Alot of things almost hinderd me from going to the party. First of all was the rain, it rained so heavily that i could not step out of the house.
Another challange was a means of transportation. Due to the rain it was difficult and very expenaive to order a ride. Then when i finally got lucky to find one, the distance between my house and the cake made rain to fall on the cake since i could not carry an umbrella.
When we finally arrived, just few persons where present due to the rain. Basically family.
This celebration was the best. Family is everything. Even though it rained, we still did everything posible to be there.
My eldest sister came in with her husband and 2 kids.we all slept over at the hotel and it was just awsome.
The bond, the gifts, the food was just too much that we could not finish everything.
I made a redvelvet, chocolate and vanilla cake for her. The taste was heavenly. Everyone kept talking about it. I was even surprised at my self. I normally don't eat cake when i bake but ate this one and wanted more.
The combinatiom of flavours, the mouth feel, it could literally melt in the mouth.
Not only did i celebrate her birthday, i also celebrate the strong woman she has become.
We are stronger together.

Yeah, thats true, but i didn't document the process of making this cake, i was so excited, i got Carried away. I'll make sure to drop a post about the next cake i bake.
