The Early Days of "LOVE"

One of my favorite feelings in the world is liking someone new. There's something so calming and beautiful about it. You meet a guy and there's an instant connection, top-tier banter, and amazing conversation. It starts out on friendly terms. After one week of constant communication, you find yourself waiting for their message and when it pops up at the top of your screen, there's an instant smile on your face with so much excitement in your heart.

Having feelings for somebody new is so fun. You both are getting to know each other and you talk till the early hours of the morning about everything and nothing at all. The most insignificant things they say make you laugh more than you normally would and when they give the slightest signal that they are feeling you too, you feel on top of the world.

When I like somebody, it's impossible to piss me off, especially during the early days. I go around my day happy with anticipation for when we'll get to talk again. In many cases, we're texting throughout the day, updating each other on what's going on. If somebody steps on me, I'll run to tell them. If I'm hungry, tired, sleepy, or bored, I'll text them about it. I would automatically love phone calls, talking for hours without running out on what to say. In situations where there's nothing to say, the silence is comfortable.

The sweetest thing is creating fake scenarios in your head. You know those nights when you're trying to sleep and you begin to imagine romantic scenes that involve both of you? In your fantasies, you both are on a date in an exotic restaurant looking good and sipping wine, and the air is filled with sexual tension. You picture him planting those small kisses everywhere on your face till you begin to giggle. You picture you both listening to sensual music and him going down on you. You imagine all the sweetest things you read in books and watch in movies. If you are like me, you go as far as thinking about your proposal and wedding.

There are certain ways I know I'm in love with somebody. The first step is when I realize that I always want to talk to them and be in their presence. My number one love language is quality time so when I start making plans and looking forward to spending time with a person, I know I've caught feelings. I also tend to give details about how my day went including irrelevant information. I know I love someone when their voice makes my heart flutter. When I begin to tell my friends about you with a smile on my face, I'm a gone girl. When I see funny memes or TikTok videos and send them to you, you should know you have me already. If I make a playlist for someone with specific songs, we are already married in my head.

I love being in love. It brings out a softer side of me and it's soothing. I like being showered with love and affection in return. I enjoy being taken care of and treated delicately. Being kissed passionately with emotions melts my heart. Love is a very beautiful thing and I can't wait to enjoy the kind of love I desire.
