The value of being / El valor de ser (eng-esp)

In my previous post, I was talking about self-awareness. For that, it's necessary to properly understand and interpret everything you think about and feel inside. You have to be very honest with yourself.

And for that, you need to have the courage to do it.

Courage is a word that many people use daily, but it's not always used correctly in practice.

Some think that having courage means doing anything that challenges you and enduring the consequences of your actions. Others think that having courage means doing something reckless, like the things we see on the internet all the time.

That's not courage.

It takes courage to say NO when you need to. It takes courage to do the right thing and not give in to temptation.

It takes courage to let go of our ego and pride and realize that any reckless action we take online can bring suffering to our family if something goes wrong.

It takes courage to always tell the truth and live by it. It takes courage to be fair at all times.

Above all, it takes a lot of courage to be honest with our children and be a role model for them. Especially in these times when it's so easy to fall into the temptation of material gain at the expense of our principles.

It's very difficult to explain to our children why others can do and have so many things that, unfortunately for us as parents, we can't afford. That's why I so value people who respect themselves, who look inward and recognize their virtues and strengths, and who strive every day to be better people, better human beings with better feelings, instead of prioritizing adding zeros to their bank account at any cost.

Hola, chicas!

En mi post anterior estuve hablando sobre el reconocimiento propio. Para eso es necesario bien e interpretar todo lo que piensas sobre todo lo que siente por dentro. Hay que ser muy honesta una misma.
Y para eso hay que traer el valor de hacerlo.

Valor es una palabra que muchos utilizan a diario pero no siempre se usa de forma correcta en la práctica.

Algunos piensan que tener valor es hacer cualquier cosa que te reten a hacer y soportar las consecuencias de tus acciones. Otros piensan que tener el valor es realizar alguna imprudencia como las que vemos en internet a cada rato.
Eso no es valor.

Se tiene valor al decir NO cuando hay que decirlo. Hay que tener el valor para hacer lo correcto y no caer en tentaciones.
Hay que tener el valor para librarnos de nuestro ego y orgullo y pensar que cualquier imprudencia que hacemos online puede traerle sufrimiento a nuestra familia, si algo sale mal.

Hay que tener valor para decir siempre la verdad y vivir en la verdad. Hay que tener valor para ser justos en todo momento.
Sobre todo hay que tener mucho valor para ser honestos ante nuestros hijos y ser un ejemplo para ellos. Sobre todo en estos tiempos donde es tan fácil caer en la tentación de beneficios materiales a cambio de nuestros principios.

Es muy difícil explicarles a nuestros hijos la razón de por qué hay otros que pueden hacer y tener tantas cosas que por desgracia para nosotros como padres no podemos complacer.
Por eso valoro tanto a las personas que se respetan que se miran por dentro y reconocen sus virtudes y sus aspectos se esfuerzan cada día por ser mejores personas mejores seres humanos con mejores sentimientos en lugar de priorizar agregarle ceros a su cuenta de banco a cualquier costo.
