So, every time she comes to the house, my goal is to make jokes with her and make her laugh. By the way, I laugh a lot too.

My son Diego is another one who makes me laugh a lot with his witty remarks. He has a very jovial character and a very agile mind. In addition, he is very curious and intelligent. That's why he comes up with all kinds of things, which he blurts out in the middle of dinner or when we're watching a movie, which makes us laugh until our stomachs and throats hurt. Tyson is an Alaskan Malamut, who is now one year old. Tyson is a dream come true. I've always said that if I ever had a dog, it would be a husky (Malamuts are family). Well, a few days ago, my husband gave him to me as an anniversary present.
I can't explain the happiness. I have videos and pictures of him arriving, on a motorcycle, wrapped in a blanket, for the trip. He was jumping up and down with joy and couldn't stop laughing.
But that's just normal happy laughter. I think my jumping up and down was the funniest thing in this case. When I laughed until my tummy hurt, that was when I sat on the floor to pet him and Tyson knocked me over on my back to say hello and play with me. Imagine what it's like to have a furball, almost 60 pounds on top of you, licking your face and neck.

I couldn't stop laughing until they took him off of me. And this has become a daily occurrence in the house.
The other day he did the same thing to me while we were cleaning. My husband recorded that moment of joy. Another one. Every time we play I laugh like that. Tyson is a dream. He is the happiness we were missing. Since he arrived, I think the house has breathed more joy and jubilation. Even when my students came it was like that, with shouts of joy and laughter. The three of them, without agreeing, threw themselves on the floor to hug him.

And so with that level of happiness we have been since he came into our lives. Into my life. We are always lying on the floor playing with him and we always laugh until we can't anymore.

Cuando salí con mi amiga Martica. Con ella siempre mee río muchísimo. Martica es muy seria, pero cuando está conmigo, nos reímos de cualquier cosa que conversemos. Ya que ella es muy seria, me propongo hacerla reír. Además, tengo el placer de que me confesara que ella solo se ríe así conmigo. De modo que, cada vez que viene a la casa, mi objetivo es hacerle bromas y que se ría. De paso, me río muchísimo también.

Mi hijo Diego es otro que me hace reír cantidad con sus ocurrencias. Tiene un carácter muy jovial y de mente muy ágil. Además, es muy curioso e inteligente. Por eso se le ocurre cada cosa, que las suelta de repente en medio de la cena o cuando vemos una película, que hace que nos riamos hasta que nos duele la barriga y la garganta. A veces, incluso, lo hace sin esa intención y es cuando más nos reímos.

Pero la ocasión más reciente en que me reí así de felicidad, ha sido desde que me regalaron a Tyson.
Tyson es un Malamut de Alaska, que ahora tiene un año de edad. Tyson es un sueño cumplido. Desde siempre dije que, si algún día tuviera un perro, sería un huskey (el Malamut es familia). Bueno, hace unos días, mi esposo me lo dio como regalo de aniversario.

Cuando me reí hasta que me dolió la barriga, fue cuando me senté en el suelo a acariciarlo y Tyson me tumbó de espalda para saludarme y jugar conmigo. Imagínense lo que es tener a una bola de pelos, de casi 60 libras encima, pasándote la lengua por la cara y el cuello.

No pude parar de reír hasta que me lo quitaron de encima. Y esto se ha vuelto algo cotidiano en la casa.
El otro día me hizo lo mismo mientras limpiábamos. Mi esposo grabó ese momento de alegría. Otro más. Cada vez que jugamos me río de ese modo. Tyson es un sueño. Él es la felicidad que nos faltaba. Desde que llegó, creo que en la casa se respira mayor alegría y júbilo. Incluso, cuando vinieron mis alumnos fue así, con gritos de alegría y risas. Los tres, sin ponerse de acuerdo, se tiraron en el suelo para abrazarlo.

Y así con ese nivel de felicidad hemos estado desde que llegó a nuestras vidas. A mi vida. Siempre estamos tirados en el suelo jugando con él y siempre nos reímos hasta que no podemos más.
